BAYDOG cautions dog owners that ice pack inserts should remain in the collar and should not be placed directly on a dog's skin, or used on hairless dogs. The company also warns that owners should carefully monitor their pet for symptoms of heatstroke, and notes that the Arctic Bay Cooling Dog Collar is not a guarantee that a dog will not suffer heatstroke.
